Quy Ngoc Tang and Joseph Cesarz filed a collective action suit against Wynn Las Vegas, LLC pursuant to the Fair Labor Standards Act regarding plaintiffs' tip credits as casino dealers employed by defendant, seeking damages.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF CONTENTIONS: Plaintiffs contended that Defendant intentionally failed and refused to abide by its legal obligations by compelling plaintiffs to turn over to defendants a portion of their tips.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS: Defendant denied the contentions.

Result

The case settled for $5.6 million, including attorneys' fees of $1.4 million, costs of $10,000, $20,000 awards to plaintiffs.
