Facts
On July 1, 1994, the plaintiff, Ciro Albanese, a 50-year-old electrician, was traveling in his Buick on Barranca Parkway in Irvine. The defendant, Susan Slonim, pulled her minivan out from behind a stop sign and changed into the plaintiff's lane causing the plaintiff to brake from 35 mph., swerve into a curbed median and broadside the defendant. The defendants admitted liability. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendants to recover damages for personal injury.
