Facts

The plaintiff was involved in a single car rollover accident. She was driving to a job in Nebraska. She alleged
that she was unable to return to work as a stripper because of sustained injuries from the car accident. The
plaintiff alleged that she earned $1,000 per week and was entitled to $400 per week in lost income for 52
weeks. The defendant paid lost wages to plaintiff until they realized in mid-December 1996 that she had been
working as a nude dancer following the accident.

Settlement Discussions

The plaintiff demanded $13,000 before trial. The defendant offered $750 according to the defendant. None according to the plaintiff attorney.

Damages

$13,000 in unpaid wage loss. The defendant had paid medical expenses prior to trial.

Result
