Plaintiff Ramin Alizadeh Shekarlab ran an used-car business on property leased from defendant Thomas R. LaBrie. Alizadeh was attacked and shot on the premises during his lease term. Shekarlab sued LaBrie for negligence.

Shekarlab contended that inadequate security measures were in place, which caused his injuries.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
LaBrie denied all allegations.
