Plaintiff Robert Strong was driving a motor scooter when he collided with defendant David Nord, after Nord made an illegal u-turn in front of Strong's scooter. Strong was thrown from his scooter, went over the car, and ended up on the far side of the car. Strong filed an action against Nord for negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
