Karen Felzener sued Brendan Koon, in connection with a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Sept. 11, 2012 at the intersection of 14th St. and Rosemont St. in San Francisco.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Felzener contended that Koon was negligent in the operation of his vehicle, which caused Koon to collide with her bicycle. Felzener was injured as a result of the collision.

Injuries

Felzener suffered multiple injuries, which were both severe and permanent.

Result

The jury rendered a verdict in favor of Felzener, and awarded her $582,187 in damages. However, the jury also found her 20 percent liable for the accident, and Felzener's recovery was reduced to $465,750.
