PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Loomis and his band, Loomis and the Lust, were a nationally recognized group in the music industry. His most popular song, "Bright Red Chords," was written in 2008. Loomis alleged that defendants infringed on the copyright for the song, and used it to compose the song "Domino," performed by Jessie J.

Result

The court ruled in favor of defendants.
