Facts

Susan Ure brought an action against ING Financial Advisers LLC and ING Life Insurance and Annuity Co. in relation to her employment with ING. She sued ING for discrimination, breach of contract, breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing, and constructive discharge. ING counterclaimed against Ure for money had and received, and unjust enrichment.

Damages

Ure sought $1,743,435 in the statement of claim and sought $942,635 plus interest at the close of the hearing.

Result

The arbitration panel awarded Ure $768,450 plus interest at 10 percent from Feb. 15, 2007, to Oct. 15, 2007, in the amount of $204,952.
