Arnie Pike, a quadriplegic individual, sued the Placentia Library District, alleging that the Placentia Library was inaccessible to certain individuals with disabilities, in violation to the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Result

The parties settled for $28,968 and an agreement to make the Placentia Library accessible to wheelchair users in compliance with the ADA and California law.
