Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Inc. sued Patricia Pullman dba Amazon.com Seller JK Enterprises in connection with the sale of counterfeit copies of various Warner Bros. creative works.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Warner Bros. owned exclusive United States distribution rights to the television series Entourage, The Sopranos, and many others. Warner Bros. alleged that defendants distributed counterfeit copies of Warner Bros. works through Amazon.com. Warner Bros. asserted causes of action against defendants for copyright infringement. Warner Bros. also sought a permanent injunction.

Result

The parties agreed to settle the dispute. Defendants agreed to a permanent injunction enjoining them from further infringement.
