PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Yuhe was a Chinese company that supplied chickens for meat production and broilers. In June 2011, a research report alleged that Yuhe had misrepresented its acquisition of 13 breeder farms. Yuhe later admitted that it had not acquired these farms, causing its stock prices to dramatically decline and be delisted.
Result
The parties settled for $2.7 million.
