Facts

PT Mulia Graha Tatalestari sued Rodrigo Vargas Design for infringing on its trademarks.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
PT was a designer of various properties, including resorts and hotels. In 2011, PT engaged Vargas to provide design assistance with the development of a resort. PT later terminated Vargas's services. However, Vargas continued to prominently display its connection to PT Mulia on its website. PT wrote to Vargas, insisting that it cease referring to its terminated connection to the project.

Result

The court granted a permanent injunction, ordering Vargas to cease from continuing its infringing activities.
