Plaintiff asserted claims for negligence and premises liability after she tripped and fell while taking a tour of property located in Rancho Cucamonga. U.S. Bank Trust National Association and Selene Finance LP were the owners of the property.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff contended that she fell due to a dangerous condition at the property. Specifically, she claimed she tripped on the step from the entrance hallway to the dining room, which was not visible because it was dark.

DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS:
U.S. Bank and Selene denied that the stairs were a dangerous condition and argued that plaintiff was comparatively negligent.

Injuries

Plaintiff fractured her right hip.
