Plaintiff Shung C. Han filed suit against defendant Anthony Pacione in connection with an incident that occurred at the intersection of 2nd St. and Western Ave. in Los Angeles.

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
On Aug. 4, 2011, defendant was driving northbound on Western Ave. when he failed to yield to plaintiff, a pedestrian on 2nd Street, while making a left turn. Plaintiff was walking in a designated crosswalk.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendant disputed the nature and extent of plaintiff's injuries.

Plaintiff suffered multiple traumatic injuries and was transported via ambulance to Cedar Sinai Medical Center. Plaintiff suffered left wrist fracture, left pinky fracture, neck, lower back, and loss of consciousness.
