Facts

On April 9, 1997, plaintiff was traveling on Interstate 880 near Route 238 interchange, heading towards Oakland from Hayward, when the plaintiff's vehicle collided with the truck driven by the defendant. The car spun around the truck, crossing to the median barrier and back again.
