Facts
On Feb. 16, 1998, defendant Yong Man Kim was driving westbound on Olympic Boulevard, at the same time, defendant Homero Resendiz was heading eastbound on Olympic Boulevard, intending to make a left turn northbound onto Soto Street. The front of Kim's car collided into the passenger door of Resendiz' car right where plaintiff Alicia Sanchez was sitting. The plaintiff sustained personal injuries and other damages as a result of the accident. The plaintiff brought this action alleging that defendants Kim and Resendiz, negligently caused the accident. Defendants Kim and Resendiz filed a complaints and cross-complaints against each other, alleging that the other was negligent and should be liable for all the injuries and damages.
Settlement Discussions
The plaintiff demanded $50,000 to defendant Resendiz and $100,000 to defendant Kim. Resendiz offer a waiver of costs while Kim made no offer.
