Facts

In December 1998, defendant Robinett was northbound on a two-lane residential street, stopped at the intersection of a busy four lane arterial in Kent. The plaintiff was a passenger in a vehicle going westbound and downhill on the arterial. The plaintiff contended that after waiting for the traffic, defendant Robinett began to cross all four lanes and was struck by the Miles vehicle which had no chance to stop or elude the defendant's vehicle. The plaintiff further contended that she had the right of way. The defendant admitted liability.
