Facts

The Secretary of Labor of the U.S. Dept. of Labor, Hilda Solis, filed a lawsuit against C & J Wear Inc. dba Justified/S-12 Collection/S-Twelve, charging the business with violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 (FLSA).

Result

A consent judgment was entered under which defendant will no longer conduct business in violation of the FLSA. Further, defendant agreed to pay $30,909 to employees, hire a third party monitor for its business activities, and discuss FLSA compliance with managers.
