Facts

On Jan. 15, 1996, plaintiff Dorothea Quigley, a 19-year-old student, medical records clerk and hairdresser, was walking on a walkway on the north side of a condominium complex when she fell, sustaining injuries. Defendant Rel Management Inc, the manager of the condominium complex, had inspected the area within the week before the accident, but did nothing about the ice. The plaintiff brought this action against the property management company based on premises liability and negligence theories of recovery.
