Facts

On May 26, 2006, a vehicle driven by David Halpert collided with a vehicle driven by Kerri Ann French. Consequently, French's vehicle then collided into a parked vehicle. French sued Halpert alleging motor vehicle negligence.

Damages

The plaintiff sought $16,000 for property damage and $6,000 for implant surgery.

Injuries

French claimed a concussion, migraine headaches, and a shift in her breast implant.

The jury awarded the plaintiff $21,944.

Other Information

Plaintiff filed a motion for additur based on the jury's lack of awarding any non-economic and future loss of earnings damages. The motion was granted. The court gave the defense the option of a new trial on damages or consent to an additur of $12,000.
