Facts

3M Unitek held patents for its 3M Unitek Incognito Lingual Braces. Rocky Mountain Orthodontics Inc. (RMO) sold customized lingual orthodontic brackets, which were manufactured by Lingualjet Orthodontics.

3M filed suit against RMO, alleging patent infringement.

Result

The parties reached a settlement, pursuant to which a consent judgment was entered, acknowledging the patents' validity, and whereby RMO agreed to cease making, using, or selling the accused Lingualjet product or other infringing products.
