Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
J.T. Colby & Co. Inc., as well as two other publishing companies owned by John Colby, filed suit against Apple, alleging copyright infringement. The publishers contended they held common law trademarks for "ibooks" and "ipicturebooks," in a wide area of electronic and print books.

The court rendered judgment for the defense.
