Facts

Steven Stroh filed a complaint accusing AWG Ambassador LLC of violating Section 8(a)(1) of the National Labor Relations Act.

Contentions

COMPLAINANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Respondent allegedly provided limousine services and related services in Las Vegas, Nevada. Respondent allegedly violated the Act by maintaining and enforcing an arbitration agreement that required employees to waive their rights to pursue class or collective actions in all forums for employment-related disputes.

Result

Administrative Law Judge Eleanor Laws found AWG in violation of the Act and ordered AWG to cease and desist from further violating the Act. The National Labor Relations Board subsequently upheld Judge Law's determination.
