Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Hill filed suit against Let's Fashion Inc., alleging copyright infringement. Hill contended that Let's Fashion produced dress styles that copied a distinctive and copyrighted bead and embroidery design owned by her. She further contended that Let's Fashion employees were describing dresses as "Sherri Hill designs."

Result

The parties reached a settlement, and Let's Fashion agreed to cease manufacturing and return any inventory containing copies of Hill's products.
