Contentions
PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiffs alleged that defendant law firm negligently drafted a real estate purchase agreement, causing plaintiffs to be sued and incur attorney fees and costs as well as impairing plaintiffs' claims against the seller. Plaintiffs asserted claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, negligent misrepresentation, and negligence.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendant denied the allegations and asserted various affirmative defenses. Defendant also moved for summary judgment, claiming plaintiffs' action was barred by the statute of limitations.
Result
The trial court granted Greenberg Traurig's motion for summary judgment.
