Facts

Solomon and Anna Constanza sent Phillip and Carol Alford an eviction notice after the couple refused to pay the rent increase on their residence. The Alfords sued the Constanzas for specific performance of a signed letter citing an option to buy the property for $390,000.

PLAINTIFFS' CONTENTIONS:
The plaintiffs contended defendants signed a letter granting them the option to purchase their residence.

DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS:
The defendants contended the letter was forged and altered to extend the option date and that the option was unsigned.
