Facts

In 2004, Antonio Enriquez fell 20 feet from a scaffold during a painting job. He was severely injured as a result of the fall and filed a workers' compensation claim against his employer and State Compensation Insurance Fund.

Injuries

Enriquez continued to suffer from cognitive deficits, anxiety and depression, as well as psychosis, self-mutilation and multiple personality disorder.

Result

An $8.9 million structured workers' compensation settlement was reached between the parties.
