On May 13, 2006, at an intersection in Santa Fe Springs, California, a vehicle driven by plaintiff Rosa Salazar and a vehicle driven by defendant Richard Rodriguez collided in an automobile accident. Salazar sued Rodriguez in relation to injuries she sustained.
