Facts

On April 2, 2007, plaintiff Timothy Cole was hit by a taxicab at the intersection of Columbus Avenue and Chestnut Street in San Francisco. Cole filed suit against t defendant Yellow Cab Cooperative Inc.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Cole claimed that the taxi stopped briefly and then left the scene of the accident. Cole contended that Yellow Cab Cooperative Inc owned the taxi.

Injuries

Cole suffered a leg fracture.

Result

The jury reached a verdict for the defense, finding that the taxi involved in the accident was not a Yellow Cab.
