Contentions

PLAINTIFFS' CONTENTIONS:
Paramjit Cheema and Satwant Cheema alleged that they had established insurance relationships as clients of defendants. Plaintiffs further alleged that Lane negligently advised plaintiffs causing them to be grossly under-insured and without proper coverage. Plaintiffs contended that although Poblete of VJ Insurance Services, advised plaintiffs that they were completely covered for liability related to the business operations of Cheema & Sons, the business was grossly under-insured.

DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS:
Defendants denied the allegations of plaintiffs' claims and asserted various affirmative defenses.

Result

After the case went to trial, the jury found in favor of Lane, Poblete and VJ Insurance Services and against plaintiffs.
