Contentions
PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff alleged that he was physically disabled and required the use of a wheelchair and that defendants owned Lola and Rico's Mexican Restaurant. Plaintiff further alleged that when he visited defendants' restaurant there was no accessible route from his parking space to the restaurant. Plaintiff further alleged that the entrance door did not provide adequate access, the tables did not appropriately accommodate his wheelchair, and the service counter was too high.
Result
The court entered a judgment pursuant to the stipulation of the parties. The defendants agreed to make certain structural modifications to the subject property. Defendants further agreed to allow a judgment against them in the amount of $4001, plus costs and reasonable attorney fees.
