Contentions
PLAINTIFFS' CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiffs alleged that the city, which operated the Ice Rink Arena, banned Leigh-Ellen fromthe Ice Rink after reporting a sex offender's presence in the Arena. As a result, she was prevented from obtaining employment there and the ban also deprived her children of ice-skating lessons, competitions and other Ice Rink-related activities. Consequently, plaintiffs were forced to move out of South Lake Tahoe.
Result
The parties reached a $4,500 settlement.
