On Sept. 22, 1995, plaintiff Melinda Dominguez Valentine, a 31-year-old woman, was making a left turn onto the on-ramp on eastbound Interstate 70 at the intersection of 44th Avenue when her vehicle was broadsided by a vehicle driven by defendant Dolores Montanomagno. The defendant driver was an uninsured motorist and defendant State Farm was the plaintiff's uninsured motorist carrier. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on negligence. The defendant disputed damages.
