Facts

California filed a lawsuit against Anthem Blue Cross Life & Health Insurance Co. and Blue Cross of California for illegally dropping more than 6,000 policyholders from coverage after they got sick and needed treatment. Anthem Blue Cross denied any wrongdoing.

Result

The parties agreed to a $6 million settlement.
