Result

Following litigation that was originally filed in 2005, the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy will take control of land in Millard Canyon in a settlement with the homeowners in La Vina. The Arroyos and Foothills Conservancy will buy 13 acres on the other side of the Canyon, completing a multi-year preservation effort. Only hikers and equestrians will be allowed to use the trail.
