Plaintiff Kelly Anderson sued defendant Tarleton Karry for unpaid loans she made to defendant between August 2002 and August 2004. The defendant filed a cross-claim for breach of contract.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
The plaintiff contended defendant promised orally and in writing to repay the lent money. Plaintiff also claimed that defendant never repaid the money and had no intention of doing so when he made the promises. The plaintiff denied giving defendant a quitclaim deed to her condominium.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
The defendant disagreed about the amount owed, the amount repaid already, and whether he intended to continue to repay the money. He contended plaintiff broke her promise to give defendant a quitclaim deed to her condominium in Arizona.
