Facts

The plaintiff claimed that the restaurant manager and a supervisor sexually harrassed her. When she did not comply with the sexual overtures, she was given less work hours and less desirable work stations. After complaining of the incidents, the company failed to perform an adequate investigation, then fired her for failing to pay for food she ate at a buffet.

Settlement Discussions

The plaintiff demanded $45,000 against the restaurant. The defendants did not make an offer.

Damages

The plaintiff claimed as damages diminution in income and emotional distress.

Result

The case was settled through binding arbitration.
