Facts

Kevin Park, a former Custodial Supervisor for the City of Concord filed a wrongful termination claim against the city in 2008.

Result

The City agreed to pay $188,500 to settle Park's claims against the city and this comes in lieu of reinstating him to his job. Kevin Park also received an additional $80,000 in back pay. The settlement represents his back pay and the amount of ongoing pay he would get until he reaches retirement age, 50 years old.
