Brian Jensen filed a claim against the Secretary of Health and Human Services.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Jensen contended that he suffered an injury stemming from a vaccination to protect against Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis disease, also called the Tdap vaccine. Jensen contended that the vaccine caused his Guillain-Barre Syndrome and other injuries.

Result

The government agreed to pay a lump sum of $150,000 to settle Jensen's claim.
