Facts
Plaintiff James Mandala was employment as principal at St. Louise de Marillac School, and Reverend Robert Fulton, the Pastor of the school, was plaintiff's direct supervisor.
On March 25, 2012, plaintiff and defendants entered into a written employment contract for the 2012-2013 school year. On July 23, 2012, Reverend Fulton rescinded plaintiff's contract and terminated his employment as principal of the school

Contentions
PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff claimed that the Roman Catholic Archbishop breached the contract by terminating him before the end of the employment term without just cause and sought damages for the alleged breach.
DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Defendants contended that the contract was rescinded based on plaintiff's performance issues and that there was sufficient cause to terminate him. Defendants disputed that plaintiff was entitled to any damages.
Settlement Discussions
Plaintiff demanded $75,000 before trial. Defendant's last offer was $25,000.
Damages
Plaintiff claimed damages in the amount of $75,000.
