The defendant contended that she was entering onto Highway 2, westbound, from an elevated onramp, and as she
merged onto the highway, she lost control of her vehicle. Defendant Sterland, with his plaintiff wife, a front
seat passenger, was westbound Highway 2, when defendant HowardÆs vehicle went out of control. Defendant
Sterland attempted to avoid defendant HowardÆs vehicle, also lost control. Both vehicles collided in the ditch
on the eastbound side of Highway 2.
