On June 19, 1994, plaintiff Sharron Terrill, a 50-year-old housewife, was shopping in the produce section of defendant Food 4 less Supermarket in Fairfield. The plaintiff claimed she slipped and fell on a green substance on the floor. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant store based on negligence and premises liability theories of recovery.
