Facts

In October 1994, plaintiff John H. Theis, Jr., a 54-year-old engineer, was terminated from his job by the defendants Board of Water Commissioners for the City and County of Denver. The plaintiff had worked for thedefendants for 21 years. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendants based on wrongful termination and age discrimination theories of recovery.
