Margaret Taylor was traveling on southbound Mentor Ave. A pickup truck driven by Dave Wilhite turned into Taylor's lane, striking her vehicle on its right side. Wilhite, who was driving in the course of his employment with E.C. Construction, was traveling at a speed of 20 mph. Taylor filed a lawsuit against Wilhite and E.C. Construction. Against Wilhite, Taylor alleged negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Against E.C. Construction, Taylor alleged vicarious liability. The defendants admitted liability.

The plaintiff suffers from pain and has trouble with her daily chores. Past and future pain and suffering damages were requested.
