Donald Lounibos filed a wage-and-hour class action against Keypoint Government Solutions Inc.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Keypoint provided investigative and risk-mitigation services for government organizations. Lounibos worked for Keypoint as an investigator, conducting background checks on government employees. Keypoint assigned him work via a secure computer, and gave him strict deadlines to comply with. While doing his job, Lounibos was regularly required to work over eight hours a day, but was unable to report work hours over eight hours.

Result

The parties settled, with Keystone agreeing to pay a total settlement amount of $240,000 and $72,000 in attorney fees.
