Facts

Sandra Ramos sued the City and County of San Francisco. Plaintiff's sole economic damage was the loss of one day's pay due to a suspension from work. When litigation began, Defendant had served notice of its intent to terminate Plaintiff and had refused requests to accommodate her disability.

Result

The City agreed to pay Ramos $60,000, provide up to $2,500 in reimbursement for vocational assistance as a reasonable accommodation of disability, and further agreed to non-monetary relief.

Other Information
