Facts

Marisela Mendoza was making an illegal U-turn when her vehicle was struck by a police car driven by Officer Marco Rodriguez. Mendoza suffered injuries as a result and sued the City of Oakland. The city claimed the officer had his lights and sirens, while Mendoza disputed this claim.

Result

A $7,500 settlement was reached.
