Facts

Oakland Police Officer Sam Feleafine arrested Antonea Brown at a Beyonce concert in 2009. Brown claimed injuries as a result of the arrest and sued the City of Oakland. Police claimed Brown was disturbing other fans and was combative.

Result

The City agreed to pay $7,500 to settle the matter. The City of Oakland City did not admit any wrongdoing and maintains the officer's actions did not violate any state or federal law.
