Facts

TA Operating LLC is the operator of a Southern California truck stop. The Riverside County District Attorney and the California attorney general sued for violations of fuel storage regulations at its Coachella desert truck stop. The most serious alleged infractions involved tampering with or disabling sensors that are part of the fuel tank monitoring system.

Result

The parties settled for $1.2 million.
