Defendant Ronald Ross was driving his truck southbound on Interstate 5 in the vicinity of Anderson, California. Plaintiff David Crossland was operating a motorcycle and drove on to the I-5 from Highway 273 with two other motorcycles. Within 10 seconds, the motorcycle and the truck collided.
